Rules and Information

Rules:

  • A maximum of three lines of fisherman rods per person, unattended lines prohibited. If you book the whole lake you are authorized to use 4 rods per fisherman.
  • Proof of health insurance required for all foreign visitors.
  • No smaller than size 4 hooks because the fish's mouth is very soft and very large.
  • No use of other rigs except safety rigs.
  • We recommend using a larger lead (100-120 grams.) In order to better self-hook the fish.
  • It is absolutely forbidden to use carp sacks.
  • It is recommended that all fishermen have carp mats prepared for treatment of possible injuries to fish.
  • The use of boats is at own risk to fishermen.
  • When damage is dealt to equipment that was provided by the management of the lake, the same shall be paid at fixed prices.
  • When causing loss (death) of fish attributable to the fishermen, the same shall be paid at 100 BGN. per kilogram.
  • It is desirable to not make noise (loud music) during the excursion in order to ensure peace of any other clients.
  • It is not desirable to leave the line and inventory unattended.
  • Please maintain cleanliness of the lake, so that all other customers after you enjoy a clean and beautiful scenery.
  • If in breach of any of the above rules, we reserve the right to immediately remove offenders with no refund.

Welcome to the most respected lake in Bulgaria, for catching trophy carp.

We have over 520 trophy carp (all varieties), catfish, koi, sturgeon, and perch trophy catches.

We have over 25 trophy carp over 25 kg. and 6 carp sized upwards of 32-35 kg. Average size of fish inhabiting the lake is 15 to 18 kg.

This beautiful lake is located near the Montana- a beautiful area, in northwestern Bulgaria. For four years running, our lake holds the record of Bulgaria for the largest carp caught.

This beautiful lake is approximately 90.95 acres and average depth is 7 to 8 meters, with trophy fish measuring up to sizes above 35 kg.
